Monster twister crushing the SW suburban areas right now in Oklahoma City. Moore is in the crosshairs.

I’m gonna go ahead and guess that Greenfield, Iowa tornado was an EF4. Damage looked very bad.

A white cone tornado blew up about 5:20 pm right in front of Reed Timmer in north Texas. Enough to elicit an F-bomb! It was pretty spectacular.
TWC naturally was on preprogrammed grok about Canada - not even the Ice Truckers.

TWC is practically unwatchable now. There are so many other options these days.

The NWS probably should have pushed out a Confirmed Tornado Warning or PDS Tornado Warning much earlier than they did for that pariticular storm. Though I'm not sure just how much a difference that would have made with respect to the overall injuries or fatalities when all is said and done. Fortunately, we got lucky in Katy, when our NWS missed the confirmed tornado that struck S. Mason Road back in April.

Based on a very early look at data, I’m thinking that large tornado tonight in western Kentucky will likely
Be classified as an EF-5.
