The Enhanced Risk has moved closer to the Houston Metro. Jeff stated on Facebook, "Usually, when you get rotating storms and warnings right out of the gate this early, it is an ominous sign for later in the day". It will be long day for the statez of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. There will be long trackers, I am afraid

Storm west of Conroe starting to rotate now. These storms want to start spinning quickly as soon as these updrafts pop high enough. Need to keep a close watch folks, these are nasty cells.

That line moving into the great Metro area has some serious rainfall to it. It has some spin to it as well, as Jason alluded to.

Which sites did you see this? I remember seeing a lot of it on Reddit in the wake of the Feb 21' cold event. Reddit is very left-leaning, so they have lots of antipathy towards Texas.
I lean left myself, but those people sicken me too.MontgomeryCoWx wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2024 1:53 pmThe left is a demented bunch of political cultists. Their politics is their religion.

We've gotten a decent amount considering where we live now. In just amazed 3 big storm systems threw up 3 goose eggs. I'm not going to complain too loud though, since Jarrel is only 20 minutes up the road.
