If it won't rain, at least it could be cool.
Looking bleak with windy and warm nothing ahead. More dust north of us tomorrow.

...maybe not that bleak - that one's for Don.

Watching these model runs for the coming weeks and I see system after system appear to aim for us, but precip is non-existent until it reaches the Tx/La border. It's like we have leprosy over here. I already am not a fan at all of this Spring.

Looks like IAH Houston hit 90 today for the first 90 degree day! Humidity is in the mid teens percent though so very dry.

I’ve been trying to tell y’all for a while now that things aren’t looking very good this month (and probably all of spring) for rain.

Getting a legit duststorm right now and the visibility is bad. This is my first time experiencing a full fledged dust storm. Currently under a High Wind Warning as winds may gust up to 75 mph. I also have my backup batteries charged just in case the power goes out today.

To think it’s the Ides of March and we not only have very little to no precipitation in the 2 week forecast, but we have fire weather warnings here in the HOU does not bode well at all for a decent Spring. I am not a fan.

Heat and drought suck. I’ve been trying to tell yall, that cold is nothing economically compared to the Hell that is hot and dry.

I had the sprinkler system worked on today, because it's going to get some use already...grrrrr. Especially because it's planting time to replace shrubs in the back lost during the Fall drought.
