Well, on that....ummm...front the 12z Euro-AI and GFS are a lot more aggressive on the Waiting for Godot FROPA coming into Halloween. The rain chances still look weak...but the Aleutian Jailbreaks are today's weather pinups.

Lucy is pro-active this "fall."
I see, strange whispy and smoky, white and translucent shadows moving across the sky this morning.
I think the Eldars called them "clouds."
There are legends of water falling from the sky. But a wise one told me this morning: "Don't get your hopes up!"

MJO goes into phases 4/5 so should see a cooler period around halloween, my confidence is rather high that we will have a pattern change, already seeing models making some key changes in the pacific right now

As I figured, the meager 20% chance of rain is completely gone from the forecast. More hot and dry for the next two weeks. Going to need a week or two of rain everyday to even pretend to catch up.

Dang - I have to put down more anti-fungal. I saw just a hint of brown patch this morning.
How?? It hasn't rained in nearly 2 months and we haven't had low 50s for lows

This weather brings great respect for the weeds - Texas' natural ground cover. When the grass wilts and turns brown, they come on strong. So far, I'm holding down the fort in our yard...but I see problems ahead.
