Hopefully we can build a good snowpack across the plains.

Cpv17 we should be able to, the snowpack is definitely growing in our source region though, so that is definitely a good sign, next few weeks we should start to see an increase in snow cover across the central plains

Meanwhile, DPs near 70°F (yuck!) through Thursday.
Can we get some days where the high is about 70°F? You know, Fall!? We had about 3. I guess that was too much to ask for? DPs are in the upper 50s in Gainesville. Sun and classic North Florida weather.
Maybe in a week. We'll see.
A dislodged polar vortex *could* prove to have some fun here in December...

Later this week and early next week bring to systems that could produced rain. No significant FROPA re: cooling until late November or early December.
The Canadian has some serious polar vortexing cold reach Texas around the 28th. GFS retains the blow torch. Euro brings in a seasonable FROPA at the beginning of December.

Id bet that the CMC is the most likely solution and its supported by the teleconnections and it has done well with sniffing out these really cold air outbreaks, classic GFS completely dropping the cold air in the medium range, but will show up again in the short range , arctic air is going to overwhelm the pattern with the EPO/WPO severely tanking , its a tail as old as time with these models

Terrible November just got more terrible. Got hit with my Dear John letter as part of a reduction in force, of which apparently my role was the only one eliminated, effective as of 5PM when it was walked to my office.
CEO rearranged the organization last week to where I started reporting to his 2nd in command instead of him. Then suddenly this guy brings me the letter so the CEO doesnt have to deal with me. No advance notice. Just pack my stuff and get out. I can read the severance letter at home.
I will never work for a startup again in my life after this. I just hope I can find gainful employment again without having to relocate again so soon. Its only been like 15 months.
