Have seen the left lanes at the Sheperd Curve on I-45 flood, and the service roads flood on a regular basis.

Have a safe trip home Mr. Ed!!

It is amazing how heavy rain continues to re-develop across northern Brazoria and southern Ft. Bend counties after all of the activity we have already seen across these areas. Latest radar once again showing a slow increase in convection across the aforementioned areas moving north and northwest into south and southwest Harris counties. This has been a very interesting event to say the least.

Things may try to settle down later this evening but additional rounds of rain will be possible through tomorrow morning. The axis of deepest moisture will be slowly shifting west away from the metro area slowly over the next 12--18 hours which should slowly move this rain out of here. It still looks like a very unsettled week around here through.

S CENTRAL TX GET PUSHED WEST AND SW AS LOWER LEVEL HVY RAIN CELLS DRIFT
SLOWLY NORTH. WITH SUCH A MOIST ENVIRONMENT ANY CELL STAYING OVER ANYONE
SPOT FOR A 30-60 MINUTE PERIOD CAN GIVE 1-2.5 INCHES AS CAN BE SEEN FROM
SATELLITE ESTIMATES MOST PERSISTENT HVY RAINS HAVE BEEN BRAZORIA AND
EXTENDING INTO HARRIS AND HAS PRODUCED ISOLATED FF WARNINGS. BUT JUST
ABOUT ANY PLACE FROM SE TO CENTRAL TO SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS CAN BE VULNERABLE TO LOCALLY EXCESSIVE RAINS NEXT
2-3HRS.
