Rain band stalled literally 5 miles from the house as predicted.
At least it's cloudy and coolish. I'm not running the ***** sprinklers!

The CoC appears to have retrograded a few miles SE. Still just off the coast!

It sure looks like Beta (I still don’t know whether to say he or she lol) has stalled. The radar app I use (MyRadar) has the circulation sitting in the same spot since around noon. Possibly a tad further offshore but it’s hard to tell since I’ve looked at it about 500 times today

Beta is still creeping and almost onshore. Try not to use radar and use visible.
Could be another pulse about to go off just to the ne of the center, right over Sargent.

Friendswood area getting pummeled again. Sheesh. I grew up there and Friendswood link used to flood like crazy in heavy downpours.

Drifting NW again towards Matagorda - the town now. CoC maybe 10-15 miles offshore.

First recon fix is generally just offshore of Matagorda Bay. Obs to the e support 40 kts but that's being generous.
Second fix in a few.
