70s & 80s are expected across Oklahoma next week, I thought that Summer was over, but I'm guessing it's going to have one last stand before it finally gives out.

looking like a long, warm, boring winter season. shorts and t shirts will be the outfit of choice this season.

Don't take it for granted though, the same mindset was also in place last winter, & then February 2021 came . . .

Snowman65 Im gonna have to stop you right there. 1. Its still fall.. and 2. We still will get cold shots in the winter, t-shirts and shorts will not be the norm in winter

Am I crazy or have we actually had decent fall weather this year? We live in Southeast Texas, we’re gonna have warm days in fall and winter.

I completely agree. Been a pretty normal fall to me so far.

CPV17 well its about 10 days out on the Euro with the cold so their definitely will be a lot of time for this to change

I’ve noticed many times on the models that they originally have the cold going east of us only to correct back west as it gets closer.

CPV17 exactly! This will likely change, trying to forecast where arctic air will go 10 days out is next to impossible lol, fingers crossed it comes back west

Yes, the GFS (Still pending for 18z Model run) & Euro models are dropping the Arctic Hammer in the Eastern Side of the CONUS right now.

The 18z GFS has shifted the arctic air back to the west alibeit 11 days out, as I continue to say, expect changes in each model run day by day

It's already showing a winter storm for Oklahoma Next Thursday-Saturday.
