It seems like it’s moving faster than the data points on the models. Would moving faster be good or bad as far as a track into Houston?

I'm liking the satellite trend for SE Texas, looks like the center has been tracking a little more north and east of the official track. Let's see what recon finds.

Omg. The first sigh of relief. Not big sigh but I can def like that trend. This Cat 4 s*** is got me all worked up. And everyone keeps saying west west west and Im over here in Beaumont saying no no no. That would put us in the eye any more freakn nudges left. Lol. No no no! But...we do have to forecast what we see for safety. No harm in that.

So what about Levi’s thoughts re: high pressure that should be farther West than models indicate...thus why UKmet etc showing upper Texas coast?

Still looks like it's on track to me. Could be the orientation of Cuba that makes it look off. Been a royal pita to track it though so who knows.
I echo the sentiment about checking out Levi's video on TT. Lays it out and why even as far as where I'm at is in play.

Recon is actually finding the potential LLC further south. We may be looking at the MLC that is exiting the coast of Cuba now.Scott747 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 24, 2020 8:56 pm Still looks like it's on track to me. Current recon. As stated above, actual LLC is to the south of the easily visible circulation on the north side. With that said, what are the chances that the LLC drifts north to align the the MLC?
